feb. 20 - Hipster Bike

The discovery of today's picture included a GASP, "heck yes," and a happy dance. I WAS stoked to cross paths with this single speed bike. Ever since Feb. 1st, I have been on the lookout for a purple bike and today my dreams came true!

Look at those rims... fancy.

If you know me well, you know I have a small obsession with sunsets. I don't think there's a chance I'd ever get bored of them and if you ask my husband he'd probably say I sound like a broken record player every time I see one.

Taken at Kitsilano Beach and our new neighborhood :D

Vancouver - BC Canada

Vancouver - BC Canada

This is a recent image from a trip to my hometown of Vancouver BC. I have seen this subject shot but I treaded around in the early morning hours looking for a new perspective. I tell you there are a lot of scary people out at 3 in the morning and I had to wait this long to get no traffic in the water which would have ruined the reflections. To get the calm water and sharp reflection I added a 5-stop ND to increase the exposure quite a bit plus some mid-tone contrast in post processing.
